Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy Overview

Consensio 2026 is the Annual Techno Management and Cultural festival of The Assam Royal Global University (RGU), Guwahati. Because competition arrangements, slots, logistics, and collegiate scheduling are locked in advance based on participant headcounts, no refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks will be granted once a competition registration or payment transaction has been completed.

2. No Refunds for Non-Attendance or Disqualification

Refund requests will not be entertained for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Participant absence, no-show, or tardiness on the day of the competition.
• Academic schedule conflicts, travel delays, examinations, or personal emergencies.
• Disqualification or removal from a competition due to a violation of competition rules, festival disciplinary code, or eligibility requirements.
• Failure to present a valid student ID card during verification.
• Change of mind or withdrawal after registration.

3. Competition Rescheduling & Force Majeure

The Central Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to competition timings, venues, rounds, or formats due to unforeseen operational exigencies or weather conditions. In such cases:

• No monetary refunds will be issued for alterations in competition schedules, slot timings, or event delays.
• In the rare event of a competition postponement due to force majeure (including natural calamities, government directives, civic emergencies, or severe weather), confirmed registrations will remain valid and roll over to the newly announced dates. No cash refunds will be provided.

4. Non-Transferability of Registrations

All competition enrollments and team registrations are tied directly to the registered student/participant and cannot be transferred to another individual, exchanged, or converted into cash.

5. Duplicate or Failed Payment Transactions

If an account is debited multiple times due to an internet drop or payment gateway timeout without producing a valid competition registration confirmation:

• Payment aggregators (such as Razorpay / your banking institution) automatically reconcile failed or duplicate deductions within 5 to 7 working days, crediting the funds back to the original source account.
